Refund & Cancellation Policy
Last updated: 25 October 2026
1. Your right to cancel
If you are a consumer and you agree a contract with us online, by email or phone, or at your home rather than at our business premises, the Consumer Contracts (Information, Cancellation and Additional Charges) Regulations 2013 give you the right to cancel within 14 days without giving a reason.
The cancellation period ends 14 days after the day the contract is made — for example the day you pay online or accept our quotation.
2. How to cancel
Tell us clearly that you wish to cancel, by email to vaydor_jarvis@outlook.com, by phone on 07828 747303, or by post to 4 Ger-Y-Bont, Aberdare, Rhondda Cynon Taf, CF44 9EG. You may use the model cancellation form below, but you don't have to. To meet the deadline, it is enough to send your message before the 14-day period ends.
3. If work has already started
We will not start work within the 14-day cancellation period unless you expressly ask us to.
- If you ask us to start within the cancellation period and then cancel, you must pay for the service provided up to the time you tell us you are cancelling, in proportion to the full service. This includes plants and materials already supplied or fitted at your request.
- If the service has been fully completed within the cancellation period at your express request, and you acknowledged that you would then lose the right to cancel, you can no longer cancel. For example, a consultation that has already taken place cannot be cancelled afterwards.
4. Refunds
We will refund you within 14 days of the day you tell us you are cancelling. Refunds are made using the same payment method you used, unless you expressly agree otherwise, and there is no fee for the refund. For online card payments, the refund goes back to your card through Stripe; your bank may take a few extra days to show it.
5. Cancelling after 14 days
After the cancellation period, you may still ask to cancel or postpone a service. We will refund any payment for work not yet carried out, less costs we have already reasonably incurred — for example plants or materials ordered specifically for your project. We will tell you what these costs are before deducting them.
6. If something goes wrong
Under the Consumer Rights Act 2015, services must be carried out with reasonable care and skill. If something isn't right, tell us as soon as possible. We will put it right by repeating or fixing the work, or, if that isn't possible, by giving you a price reduction or refund. This does not affect your other legal rights.
7. Business customers
The 14-day cancellation right applies to consumers only. If you order in the course of a business, cancellation and refunds are governed by your quotation and our Terms of Service.
8. Model cancellation form
