How we work

Six clear stages, from your first message to a finished design or garden. You'll always know what happens next and what it costs.

  1. Your enquiry

Send a quote request, an email or give us a call. Tell us about your garden, what you'd like to change and roughly what you'd like to spend.

    What you get
A reply with next steps and any questions about your garden.
    Typical timing
We aim to reply within 2 working days
  2. Garden Design Consultation

We talk through your ideas, how you use the garden, the style you like, planting options and your budget.

    What you get
Personalised recommendations and a clear sense of what's possible.
    Typical timing
Arranged at a time that suits you
  3. Your written quotation

Based on the consultation, we set out the scope of the service, what's included, the price and the payment terms.

    What you get
A written quotation. Nothing is chargeable beyond it without your agreement.
    Typical timing
Usually within a week of the consultation
  4. Design development

We prepare your plan — layout, planting, lawn or border design, depending on the service you chose — and share it with you.

    What you get
Your design, with the chance to ask questions and request agreed changes.
    Typical timing
Usually 1–6 weeks, depending on the service
  5. Garden work (on-site services only)

If your service includes physical work — a makeover, planting or lawn improvement — we carry it out on the dates agreed.

    What you get
The agreed work completed in your garden.
    Typical timing
Dates agreed in your quotation; weather can move them
  6. Review and finish

We go through the finished design or garden with you and make sure everything agreed has been delivered.

    What you get
A finished design or garden, and an answer to any final questions.
    Typical timing
At the end of the project

Design services and garden work

Design services — consultations, planting schemes, garden plans and design packages — cover planning only. You can follow the plan yourself, use your own contractor, or ask us to quote for the work.

On-site services — makeovers, planting, lawn improvement and seasonal refreshes — are physical work in your garden. Materials, plants and extra labour are set out in your quotation before work begins.

Timings are estimates

The timings on this page are typical, not guaranteed. Garden size, the season, the weather and plant availability all play a part, and your quotation confirms the timings for your project.
